to create a ripple of change in the world. Not to create destruction. Do something to help others and you will shed light into the dark. Here are the ways that I am shedding light in the world. These are things I am personally doing and people I am supporting. 

To Aid and Honor Those Who Serve

If you read my "About Me" page you have learned that I was a career EMT dedicated to working to help people during their darkest times. Myself, like so my of my fellow Brother and Sisters, didn't realize how "affected" I was by "The Job" till I was sitting still. Today after over coming the nightmares, debilitating anxiety and guilt that haunted me, like it does so many, I am now able to help others overcome the pain and become themselves again. Part of my work now is to give those retired, and still serving the tools they need to stay out of the dark.  

Create Global Healing

We all have a story. We all have history through our families, our circumstances and our origins. I absolutely adore Lori Layden and her work. I have been honored to learn from her. If you have worked with me you know I share what Lori has taught me with Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT) to help in the journey of returning to self and releasing the past. Her mission is to break the chains of those suffering from trauma and oppression. I share her link here so you can see and learn about her work and the impact of the work she does.

I will not be a victim. I will stand tall. I will teach my boys that "No" means NO and that woman are their equal. Because one day they will be men. Teaching them now to honor the woman in their lives and have respect will teach them later to participate in keeping woman safe. I not only love Amber-Rose's clothing line I love what she is doing with it. A portion of every sale goes to fight, educate and aid in the fight against human trafficking and modern-day slavery. In the world of human trafficking women and girls are typically trafficked into the commercial sex industry, meaning prostitution or other forms of sexual exploitation, such as committing sex acts for the purpose of creating pornography.
